This large, grey mohair elephant is a real showstopper! Made of dense grey mohair, he has black-lacquered wooden eyes and felt tusks. Traditionally filled with wood shavings, he wears a gold-embroidered, red felt saddle and stands on 4 aged brass wheels. He has a patinated steel Steiff button as used in 1903/1904 and a crisp white ear tag. Number 887 of the edition, he is in mint condition with box and certificate. A stunning centrepiece!
