This medium to large-sized bear is made by Paul Thompson, who began bear-making in 1996.
Made of hand-dyed, sparse, wavy and distressed, brown mohair. Kidd has black glass eyes and brown leather paw pads. Softly filled with wood shavings and weighted with glass beads, he wears a handmade leather waistcoat, lined with skull and crossbones-printed material (to match his neckerchief), a cotton shirt and linen trousers. Around his neck is an anchor pendant and he has a dagger in his leather sash and a pistol in an inside pocket.
