This bear is modelled on an early Steiff bear in the Basel Puppenhaus Museum. His black mohair is tipped with grey to resemble the aged appearance of the original. He has a pinkish grey stitched nose and mouth, grey felt discs behind his black glass eyes and grey felt paw pads. This bear wears a generous dusky pink silk neck ribbon, and is in pristine condition with a good working growler, complete with box, certificate and packing box.
