This large, non-jointed koala is made of soft and dense, grey, beige and white manmade plush with brown and black safety eyes. The hands are sewn together. In mint condition with silver-coloured button, ear tag and chest tag, all ID as well as a label, numbered 2472, which relates to Steiff’s registered design application at the local court at Heidenheim (see photo). The serial number is hand-written on the ear tag, indicating this was a pre-production piece and then not intended for resale.
