From the Steiff archives, this medium to large-sized, ultra-soft standing marmot is made of soft, long pile, black-tipped grey manmade plush with brown and black safety eyes, and a bushy brown tail. Never with button but in mint condition with chest tag and a hand-written archive label dated 1976 (see photo).
