This is a friendly interpretation of a wonderful circa 1905 bear, formerly owned by legendary American collector Paul Volpp who, with his wife Rosemary, assembled what was widely considered to be the finest collection of teddy bears in private hands in the 1990s.
My Friend Bo is made of distressed cinnamon mohair with a centre seam head, black button eyes, a black and brown-stitched nose and aged felt paws. Softly pellet filled, he wears a vintage style, cream cotton collar. Only one left!
