From the Steiff archives, unusual and eye-catching hen is made of speckled brown and black, manmade plush with a felt comb and wattle. Her back opens as a pocket so that she can be used as an egg cosy. Never with button but in mint condition with chest tag andoriginal, hand-written Steiff archive label dated 1978 (see photo).
