This tiny but lovely ladybird is highly umusual. Never with button, this piece was made as a souvenir for those attending a class reunion (believed 10 years) after leaving the Margarete Steiff Gymnasium (High School) in Giengen. Made of red, black and white textured wool with black glass eyes and cotton thread antennae. It is fastened by the safety pin on the base. In excellent condition.
