This fine, vintage-looking, medium-sized classic bear is made of distressed, ‘warm white’ mohair with black glass eyes, painted facial shading, a waxed thread nose and aged linen paw pads. Filled with a mixture of wood shavings and mineral granules, she is dressed in 1920s style with a gauze headband with an elaborate feather and costume jewellery decoration on the bow, a short floral-print dress and cream cotton bloomers (both made of vintage material) and a decorative bead necklace. Like all AliJayne’s bears, she has a gold-plated heart in her left ear.
