This outstanding, large and early-looking bear is made of sparse, hand-dyed and distressed, caramel mohair set on brown backing cloth. Mel has shiny black glass eyes, a waxed thread nose, age-painted facial detail and lightly aged felt paw pads. Softly filled with a mixture of wood shavings and mineral granules, she wears a vintage lace shawl and comes with an antique-looking sunshade.
