Based on the design of Merrythought’s iconic ‘Diana’ bear, which we originally created in 1997, this is a collectable bear of exceptional elegance and grace. She is meticulously hand-crafted from superior quality mohair plush, combined with the softest pure cotton velvet, and features iridescent aquamarine eyes alongside an oyster-pink hand-embroidered nose.
This exquisite bear is accessorised with a delicate raw silk and pearl trim collar, secured with a satin ribbon bow. Since Princess Diana was known to many as ‘England’s Rose’, she symbolically clasps a hand-made pure silk single rose held between her hand-paws, which in turn contain small magnets so they can be positioned either opened or closed. Individually numbered with certificate & presented in a luxury gift box.
