These tiny bears are replicas three patriotic bears, formerly in our museum here in Witney. Bears such as these were popular pocket companions for soldiers during the First World War.
Made of hand-dyed, red, blue and warm white mohair they have tiny amber and black glass eyes and are fully jointed. They come with a silk cushion, the top of which is hand-embroidered as a Union Jack. Number 83 of the edition, this set do not have a box but come in a Teddy Bears of Witney calico bag, They are as new with a certificate, signed by Ian Pout.
