After Schuco’s bankruptcy in 1977, many of the company’s tools were acquired by Karl Baer, who traded as ‘Heike’. Heike used Schuco’s tools to make similar metal-bodied miniature bears until 1992.
This tiny, fully jointed bear is made of short pile, bright green mohair with black mohair ears, black metal eyes and a red felt tongue. Fully jointed, he is in super condition with strikingly fresh colouring and original felt bow tie.
