After Schuco’s bankruptcy in 1977, many of the company’s tools were acquired by Karl Baer, who traded as ‘Heike’. Heike used Schuco’s tools to make similar metal-bodied miniature bears until 1992.
This tiny, fully jointed bear is made of short pile, yellow mohair with brown mohair ears and black metal eyes. Fully jointed, his mohair has been faded by light but is otherwise in excellent condition.
