This large, attractive and vintage-looking classic bear, by Mary, is made of aged, distressed and hand-plucked, beige mohair set on brown backing cloth. She has black glass eyes, hand-painted facial detail, aged linen paw pads and a pronounced back hump. Very heavily filled with a mixture of wood shavings and mineral granules, Hilda Hislop wears a vintage, lace-decorated cotton baby’s dress and a vintage crocheted lace collar.
