This medium to large-sized bear is made of aged, distressed and hand-plucked, beige mohair with black glass eyes, a waxed thread nose, age-painted facial detail and aged linen paw pads. Heavily filled with a mixture of wood shavings and mineral granules, she wears a layered dress with a vintage, floral-embroidered cotton lace above and vintage, floral print material beneath. Like all AliJayne’s bears, she has a gold-plated heart in her left ear. Ali Jayne, from Worcestershire, has been making bears for over 25 years.
