Mr Whoppit is a replica of Donald Campbell’s mascot bear. (Donald Campbell broke a string of land and water speed records between 1955 and 1964.) Small and highly individual, he is made of distressed, beige mohair with light brown and black eyes and blue felt inner ears. Jointed only at the neck, he wears a red felt jacket with a blue speedbird motif. He is number 59 of the edition of 5000. This hard-to-find bear is as new with decorative display box (with Campbell tartan ribbon) and certificate. There is a split on the top right back corner of the box.
