This splendid classic bear is made of sparse and matted, dark caramel mohair (with a long pile mohair beard) with black glass eyes, wired arms and faux suede paw pads. Dressed in an aged (faux fur-trimmed) full-length, dusky pink velveteen hooded coat and faux leather boots (made by Sue), he holds a Christmas tree under one arm and a copy of Dickens’ A Christmas Carol under the other. Over his shoulder is a faux leather sack holding a fully jointed 17cm mohair bear and a sprig of green foliage. Number 7 of the edition, he is as new with certificate.
