This large and outstanding bear is made of unusual, hand-dyed and distressed, long pile, pale green mohair with deeply set black glass eyes, a waxed thread nose, and hand-painted shading on his face and wool felt paws. Densely and heavily filled with a mixture of wood shavings and mineral granules, Bowie wears a printed, French linen collar tipped with old-looking brass bells.
