This wonderful, medium to large-sized bear is made of unusual, hand-dyed, sparse and distressed, plum-coloured mohair with a centre seam head, deeply set, black glass eyes and a waxed thread nose. He has age-painted detail on his face and wool felt paw pads. Densely and heavily filled with a mixture of wood shavings and mineral granules, Abel wears a decorative collar, made of vintage-style flowers and tulle.
