This large, vintage-looking bear is named after Margarete Steiff, founder of the eponymous company. Her first name was Appolonia. The bear is made of sparse and lightly distressed mohair with shiny black button eyes, brown stitching and felt paw pads. Fully jointed, she has a loosely jointed neck and wears a pink ribbon neck bow. Tip her backwards and she growls. Number 212 of the edition, she is in mint condition with box and certificate.
