This, the fourteenth in Steiff’s series of British Collectors’ Bears, is modelled on a 1908 original Steiff bear in the Puppenhaus Museum in Basel, Switzerland. Made of lightly distressed, long pile, honey-gold mohair, he has black lacquered wood button eyes and felt paw pads. Softly filled with wood shavings, he (number 3594 of the edition) in in mint condition with box and certificate.
