Created for Vedes, a Leipzig based wholesaler to the European soft toy market, this large classic bear marked the 90th anniversary of the Teddy bear. Made of dense, long pile, warm cream mohair, he has shiny and generous, black button eyes and felt paw pads. Fully jointed, he is in excellent condition with gold-plated Steiff button in ear and 90th anniversary sash. Numbered 5003 on his ear tag, he has no box. There was never a certificate with this edition.
