This, the fourth in Steiff’s series of British Collectors’ Bears, is made of distressed, long pile, off-white mohair with brown and black button eyes and felt paw pads. She is sometimes known as ‘Louise’ as this was the name of the original bear, which inspired her. Traditionally filled with wood shavings, this bear, number 555 of the edition, in in mint condition with box and certificate.
