This rare and wonderful gnome is made of felt, with black glass eyes and a mohair beard and hair. He wears metal glasses, a velveteen hat and trousers, and felt and leather slippers. There is minor all-over age wear and the metal ‘tail’, which operates his yes/no head movement has no fabric covering (see photo). An enchanting and highly unusual piece piece in very good condition.
