Originally made exclusively for the US and modelled on a 1904 original in the Margaret Strong Museum in New York, this beige-gold mohair bear has black button safety eyes and felt paw pads. He growls when tipped backwards. Never with button but as new with Steiff Werkmuster label dated 2.9.82, as well as Steiff metal seal (see photo).
