This small and lovely bear is made to celebrate ‘Happy’, the wonderful, circa 1926 Steiff bear, which fetched a world record auction price in 1989. This, the original bear from the Christie’s auction, arrived in Witney in 2020 and can now be enjoyed by all our visitors.
Made of subtly brown-tipped, wavy and distressed, cream mohair, she has pale brown and black safety eyes, brown stitching and felt paw pads. Happy wears a removable string of pearls. She comes boxed with a certificate. Ian Pout, owner of Teddy Bears of Witney, will sign your certificate if requested.
