Created exclusively for Teddy Bears of Witney a year after Witney became the original Alfonzo’s new home, this replica is made of red mohair, set on cream backing cloth with black button eyes and felt paw pads. Traditionally filled with wood shavings with a growler, he wears a cotton sateen, Cossack tunic and trousers, similar to those of the original. This bear has never been removed from his decorative display box and is still attached to it. The lid of the box is browned with age. He comes with his certificate. Good face with no gaping seams. Number 3229 of a limited edition of 5000. This, the original Alfonzo replica, is now hard to find in such pristine condition. (Ian will sign the certificate if requested.)
