Across an autumn weekend in 1975, Elton John performed two career-cementing, sell-out concerts at Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium, the first musical act to perform there since The Beatles nine years earlier. These were the largest concert events ever done by a single artist at that time. Dressed in a Bob Mackie-designed sequined Dodgers baseball uniform and cap with iconic Dodger stadium frames Elton John created a legendary image.
Here Elton has been recreated by Steiff in blue and white wool plush, wearing a navy blue glitter cap and belt, and yellow glasses. He has Elton logos embroidered on his chest and cap.
