This Teddy Baby, was the first in a series of annual bears made for members of the Steiff Club. This bear never came with a certificate.
Made of very pale blue mohair with pale brown and black glass eyes and felt paw pads, he is traditionally filled with wood shavings, and wears a studded, blue leather collar and a ceramic pendant (see photo). A total of 7950 were made, of which this is number 669. This bear is in pristine condition and still attached to his box, as when new. (If sold to someone outside the UK, there will be a GBP55 surcharge towards the airmail cost.)
