Made of ultra-sparse and distressed, blond mohair, this classic Steiff bear has black safety eyes and felt paw pads. Made to celebrate the 140th Anniversary of the Steiff Company, he holds a miniature white felt elephant, similar to Margarete Steiff’s first felt elephant pincushion soft toy, made in 1880. ‘140 Jahre’ is embroidered on one foot. The bear is in excellent, fresh condition with box and certificate.
