This distinctive bear has been made of unusual, midnight blue paper plush which was developed by Paul and Reinhard Schulte back in 1919. Stuffed with wood shavings, he has glass eyes and wears a polished stainless steel chest tag with the original Steiff logo of 1897. He comes in a presentation box and numbered certificate of authenticity. (If sold to a buyer outside the UK there will be a GBP50 surcharge towards the airmail cost.)
