This is a replica (but in a smaller size) of the first-ever teddy bear, created by Richard Steiff in 1902. Made of dense, reddish-brown mohair, he has black button eyes and felt paw pads. He comes with a replica of Richard Steiff’s original sketch book, in which he drew images of animals he saw in Stuttgart Zoo. Originally made exclusively for QVC, this bear, number 1862 of the edition, is as new and comes with box and certificate.
