This classic, medium-sized bear is made of lightly distressed, blond mohair with shiny black button eyes and shaved mohair paw pads. His feet are flat, allowing him to stand freely. A metal elephant stencil is stitched to his chest (in memory of Steiff’s first ever elephant trademark, which was registered in 1904). This bear, number 1717 of the edition, is in pristine condition with box, certificate and booklet about the origins of the elephant trademark.
