This is a wonderful reincarnation of the pocket companion of Peter Bull, the English actor and arctophile. The original Theodore left our museum in Witney in 2024 after nearly 30 years here.
Fully jointed, he is made of hand-plucked, sparse, old gold mohair with tiny black glass eyes and a skip-stitched nose. Like the original, he is filled with wood shavings. As new with certificate, this is a lovely example of Marsha’s work, which is now very hard to find.
