This large and old-looking bear is made of distressed, long pile, old gold mohair with aged black glass eyes and felt paw pads. Firmly filled with wood shavings, he has been deliberately aged with loose claw threads and carefully applied ‘age holes’ in his paws. Tobias wears a leather collar. The certificate is slightly aged but the bear himself is as new. This Tobias, number 1 of the edition, is the actual bear photographed in our 1998 catalogue.
