Friendly and soft to feel, Old Witney Panda is inspired by a circa 1939 Merrythought panda in our collection here in Witney. Made of sparse and distressed, black and oatmeal mohair, he has amber and black safety eyes, a dark brown thread nose and felt paw pads. Softly pellet filled, Old Witney Panda wears a dusky gold satin ribbon neck bow. The black and white Merrythought label is the same as used in the 1930s, when the original was made. Number 1 of the edition, this (other than #13) is our last Old Witney Panda.
